Hilton Head, SC (Jan. 22, 2026) – The Sea Pines Resort Community Fund has recently distributed more than $100,000 to eight organizations addressing urgent needs in Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper Counties. The funds were raised through the generosity of The Sea Pines Resort, its ownership, guests, property owners, and employees. The Sea Pines Resort matches every employee donation dollar for dollar, which makes the impact of team members particularly powerful.

The recipients of 2025 grants include:

  • Volunteers in Medicine
  • The Hilton Head Island Deep Well Project
  • People for Parks (Island Recreation Center)
  • Second Helpings Inc.
  • The First Tee of the Lowcountry

“The 2025 grants support a broad cross section of needs in our communities,” said Steve Birdwell, President, The Sea Pines Resort. “Contributions included after-school programs, health and wellness services, food security, and emergency assistance.”

The Community Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was formed in 2024 and through December 31, 2025, has contributed more than $320,000 in grants to regional charities.
