PUEBLO BONITO VANTAGE SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE TO OPEN ON JANUARY 14, 2026

New Luxury Hotel Offers Dining, Cultural and Wellness Experiences

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico (Dec. 11, 2025)– Pueblo Bonito Vantage San Miguel de Allende, a new urban, European Plan (EP) hotel, will open on January 14, 2026. The upscale Pueblo Bonito Vantage property unites local traditions with exclusivity, technological comforts, singular experiences and personalized service.

Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site due to its opulent Baroque architecture and the role it played in the struggle for independence from Spain, San Miguel de Allende is an exquisite colonial-era city tucked away in Mexico’s central highlands. It was just named “World’s Best City” by Travel + Leisure for the fourth year in a row, dating back to 2022. Built in homage to the city’s rich architectural heritage, Pueblo Bonito Vantage San Miguel de Allende is located within the District Corazón (the Heart District) in a traffic-free zone in front of Zeferino Gutierrez Park and a quick stroll from the historic center. The well-appointed property showcases the elegance of contemporary Mexican design of the highest style in every room and space. Multicolored, with a Moorish influence, the boutique property features beautiful fabrics, hand-crafted furniture and exquisite details intended to completely envelope guests and visitors.

“The aim is for our guests to become immersed in the culture of this beautiful location, absorbing and relishing all that San Miguel de Allende has to offer,” said Enrique Gandara, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Pueblo Bonito Resorts. “Each element of this new property has been thoughtfully designed and planned to offer the ultimate guest experience.”

The hotel’s hacienda-style buildings comprise 111 well-appointed guest rooms. The accommodations are designed in a neo-colonial style and feature terraces with outstanding views of the city’s historic downtown area or the hotel’s lush gardens.  Four dedicated wellness suites, with bamboo linens, sleep masks and other amenities intended for relaxation, will also be available.

Arquitectura de Interiores and its president, Marisabel Gómez, oversaw this exciting new project. The famed interior designer said, “The beauty of this new hotel is in the details. Our concept is that luxury is handmade, much like this exquisite city. Mexican design elements are generally found in the form of artwork, artifacts and textiles,” Gomez explained. “Sumptuous fabrics such as rich velvets, beautiful panels with nail-head details, and lavish area rugs adorn the public spaces.”

The hotel’s entry hall and its spectacular wooden gates, when opened, create a “visual layering” effect and a “wow” factor.  Guests can see through and beyond the gates to the spires of the city’s magnificent neo-Gothic church: Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with more than a dozen of the historic city’s domes grouped below it.

The richly appointed guest rooms, comfortable and sophisticated, have high-tech lighting fixtures and a state-of-the-art Bose sound system. In-room amenities include L´Occitane bath products (Bulgari amenities in suites), plush bathrobes, a luxurious pillow menu, Nespresso coffee machine, and electric kettle. Pet-friendly accommodations and a slate of treats for four-legged friends are also available.

The on-site Aromatika Spa offers lavish holistic care with facials, massages, full-body treatments, single and double treatment rooms, a hydrothermal circuit area, and locker areas for men and women. Other spa facilities include a wellness center, a fully equipped gym, beauty salon, bridal suite, and a retail shop.

Casa Bistro, the hotel’s breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant, highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients in innovative, ever-changing menus.  In the evening, V Rooftop Terrace, offering panoramic views of the city’s picturesque skyline, serves tapas and drinks.  LaFrida, the hotel’s gourmet restaurant that pays homage to iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, provides an unparalleled gastronomic experience, featuring a show in coals and fire as well as top-shelf wines and cocktails in a stylish environment.

The hotel has banquet space for groups and a beautiful terrace area for weddings and events overlooking the city.

Guests may immerse in a collection of unique experiences.  Based around four pillars—gastronomy, culture, history, and lifestyle—these curated activities include language immersion, painting or sculpture classes, cooking classes prefaced by a visit to a local market, guided cultural walks of the city, a visit to a local bee farm, vineyard visits to Guanajuato’s excellent wine region, and many more.

Two regional airports, approximately 1.5 hours away, serve San Miguel de Allende: Leon (BJX) and Querétaro (QRO). The hotel will provide transportation.
