The Sea Pines Resort Unveils Spectacular Five-Foot Chocolate Nutcracker

HILTON HEAD ISLAND (Dec. 12, 2025)The Sea Pines Resort has unveiled a dazzling new holiday centerpiece: a five-foot nutcracker sculpture crafted entirely from chocolate by Chef Iain Jones, Executive Pastry Chef. This extraordinary creation, now on display in the Harbour Town Clubhouse lobby through New Year’s Day 2026, is a testament to culinary artistry and festive spirit.

The chocolate nutcracker was meticulously hand-sculpted using only pots and pans as molds, requiring approximately 80 hours of labor and 70 pounds of Guayaquil Chocolate from Cacao Barry. The chocolate used is not only of the highest quality, but also 100% traceable and sustainable, supporting farming communities through a program that contributes about 30 cents for every kilo of Purete products sold towards farmer training and community development.

Guests visiting the Harbour Town Clubhouse will also enjoy a charming display of gingerbread houses, each crafted by a member of the resort’s talented Pastry Team, flanking the nutcracker on both sides.

This festive installation highlights The Sea Pines Resort’s commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and holiday cheer.
