OCEAN LOUNGE AT SEA PINES BEACH CLUB’S ROOFTOP BAR RANKED NO. 1 IN THE COUNTRY, NO. 5 IN THE WORLD

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (April 2, 2024) – The United States has the greatest selection of rooftop bars in the world, according to a new report, yet one stands above the rest… and it is located at The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island. At Ocean Lounge at Sea Pines Beach Club, guests can enjoy unfettered, stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean while enjoying their favorite beverages.

In addition to being singled out as best in the U.S., Ocean Lounge was ranked No. 5 in the world.

The report, from MandoeMedia, ranked rooftop bars across the globe using data from Tripadvisor and Instagram. From that information, editors created a top 50 list. Twenty-two of those 50 rooftop bars are in the U.S., most located in large cities such as Chicago, New York City and Denver. Twelve of the 50 entries were new to the list for 2024, including Ocean Lounge.

Offering a warm, intimate atmosphere with picturesque views and first-class service, Ocean Lounge was the site last year alone of more than 25 marriage proposals on the rooftop patio. It also boasts a world-class collection of more than 200 total spirits including three dozen bourbons and premium whiskeys, as well as an extensive menu of scotches, tequilas, gins, cognacs, mezcals, and other spirits. Most of the bottles are displayed within the interior bar and display cases for guests to conveniently view.

Ocean Lounge is open daily from 4 to 9 pm, serving guests 21 years of age and older for cocktails and a Caribbean-inspired dinner menu.
