Lansdowne Resort Names Babou Saine as Director of Hotel Operations

Leesburg, VA (June 17, 2025) – Lansdowne Resort, a AAA Four Diamond business and leisure destination in Northern Virginia, has promoted Babou Saine to the position of Director of Hotel Operations.

Saine moves into his new role after serving nearly two years as Resort Manager, where he directed the day-to-day operations of the resort and partnered with Lansdowne’s Managing Director in implementing property goals and strategies.

As Director of Hotel Operations, Saine is responsible for optimizing the business processes related to managing guest rooms, event space, food and beverage, engineering, security, and other areas. Additionally, he is responsible for implementing and monitoring new customer-service initiatives throughout the facility.

A graduate of Missouri State University with a B.S. in Hospitality Administration, Saine has nearly 20 years of experience working at hotels throughout the Washington D.C. Metro area, including eight years with The Ritz-Carlton. His previous positions included Director of Rooms, Director of Front-Office Operations, and Hotel Manager, providing Saine with a variety of experience that’s helped him excel at Lansdowne. The proof: As Resort Manager, Saine oversaw an 11-percent increase in guest-service scores in 2024, the highest year-over-year rise on record at Lansdowne.
