CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY AT THE SEA PINES RESORT
A Line-Up of Holiday Activities Set for July 7-11
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (June 18, 2025) – Get ready for a jolly good time as The Sea Pines Resort celebrates Christmas in July with festivities for the whole family, July 7 -11.
The week kicks off on Monday, July 7, at 1:00 p.m. with a twist on a holiday tradition. The Polar Bear Swim invites guests to take a plunge into the Harbour Town Pool, which will be chilled with buckets of ice for the occasion. It’s a free and frosty way to dive into the spirit of the season—summer style.
On Tuesday, July 8, from 8 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy a magical ride through the Sea Pines Forest Preserve during the Summer Sleigh Wagon Ride—a twinkling wagon journey through nature under the stars, surrounded by the glow of holiday cheer. Tickets are $27 for adults and $20 for children.
The holiday fun continues Wednesday morning, July 9, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with Sandy Sledding on the beaches of Hilton Head Island. Teams of up to six people can build festive sleds using provided materials and race them across the sand. Judges will score each sled on speed, durability, and creativity. Entry is $40 per team.
On Friday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Harbour Town comes alive with Santa’s Summer Express. Guests can hop aboard the trackless train for a scenic holiday ride, including a stop by the Liberty Oak stage for a photo with Santa himself. Holiday-themed crafts and games will keep the little ones busy while the whole family soaks in the summer magic. Train rides are $8 per person.
Christmas in July at The Sea Pines Resort gives guests the chance to celebrate the season—six months early and with a whole lot of sunshine. The Shops at Sea Pines Center and the shops at Harbour Town are great venues for early holiday shopping, including the popular Harbour Town Christmas store.
