Barbara Casagrande Named Vice President, Operations for Ahead

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (Aug. 18, 2022) — Ahead has promoted Barbara Casagrande to the newly created position of Vice President, Operations.  Casagrande joined the company in 2015 and since that time has served as its Director of Operations. 

In her expanded role, Casagrande will ensure that leaders of all operational area have the tools and clear communication necessary to execute their jobs –customer service, creative development, manufacturing, and long-term planning.

Prior to joining ahead, Casagrande worked for Aramark Uniform Services, where she gained hands-on experience in all areas of operations. It was there that she learned that the corporate culture sets the tone for the entire company, something she focuses on at ahead.

“Employees are our most valuable assets and their managers set the vision,” Casagrande said.  “Leaders need to be constantly looking forward to anticipate and plan for ahead’s future.”

Casagrande added that her favorite element of her job is mentoring employees, as that is how she progressed in her career path.

A Massachusetts native, the mother of 19-year-old twin daughters is an avid New England Patriots’ fan, snowmobiler, and recreational golfer.
