ARCIS GOLF INVESTS IN BEAR CREEK GOLF CLUB

Popular Daily-Fee Facility Upgrades Course and Dining Experiences

Dallas, Texas (Oct. 25, 2021) — Already namedby GOLF Magazine as one of “the six best U.S. golf courses within a five-iron of a major airport,” Bear Creek Golf Club—the 36-hole facility centrally located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex—has been dramatically transformed by owner and operator Arcis Golf to increase its appeal to both golfers and non-golfers.

On the heels of its recent acquisitions of The Golf Club at Twin Creeks and Gentle Creek Country Club, Dallas-based Arcis now owns and operates 12 properties in the DFW Metroplex. The second largest and fastest-growing owner and operator of golf facilities in the United States, Arcis has invested more than $75 million in upgrades, amenities, personnel, training, and systems to make golf and the club lifestyle more accessible at its collection of municipal, daily-fee, private and resort clubs.

“We’re strategically investing in clubs across our portfolio footprint, including our hometown of Dallas-Fort Worth, to make great golf and non-golf experiences accessible for members, guests, families and friends to live, connect, and play,” said Blake Walker, Founder and CEO of Arcis Golf. “Since the company’s inception, this has been our commitment to the communities we serve. The investment of approximately $1 million on the golf course and on a fun, hip outdoor dining and neighborhood gathering place at Bear Creek reflects that intention.”

Bear Creek’s two Ted Robinson-designed golf courses have been upgraded to enhance playability, conditioning, and on-course aesthetics, including bunker renovations to the East Course, tee box leveling and re-grassing to TifTuf, as well as practice range and cart path improvements.

The outdoor patio at Bear Creek has been totally reimagined. Now called “The Backyard,” it will soon feature a retro Airstream trailer as the centerpiece, positioned along with fire pits, market lights hung from the existing stately oak trees, handcrafted wooden tables, and live entertainment. Both players and visitors will dine on delicious barbecue, hearty burgers, local microbrews, and craft cocktails while enjoying lawn games including table tennis, foosball, and cornhole.

Bear Creek is also cooking up several curated culinary events open to the public. The first of these, called RARE, is scheduled for Saturday, November 6. Top chefs and bartenders from Arcis Golf’s portfolio of clubs will awe guests with multi-sensory pop-up dining experiences. Reserve seats at experiencerare.com or by calling 469/694-RARE (7273).

Arcis’s investment in the food and beverage services at Bear Creek solidifies its position as a great events venue. The property’s central location and expansive grounds make it ideal for hosting outings and tournaments of all sizes. Two expansive event pavilions can accommodate up to 1,200 guests and led AVIDGOLFER Magazine to declare Bear Creek the “Best Place To Host A Corporate Event” in the DFW Metroplex.

“With the improvements we’ve made, Bear Creek Golf Club offers all the components for a great golf round or event,” said Jeff Raffelson, Regional Vice President of Operations for Arcis Golf. “The conditions are amazing throughout the East and West courses, and the dining and amenity improvements make the property set up for fun both on and off the courses. We look forward to continuing to host public play as well as top local and regional golf and corporate events.”
