PGA Tour Player Kyle Stanley Receives Exemption for CRMC Championship Presented by Northern Pacific Center at Cragun’s Resort, Golf & Conference

Brainerd, MN (July 1, 2025) — The CRMC Championship presented by Northern Pacific Center has announced that two-time PGA Tour winner Kyle Stanley has received a special exemption to compete in this year’s tournament, held at Cragun’s Resort, Golf & Conference, August 28 to 31. Stanley has won both the Waste Management Phoenix Open and the Quicken Loans National. His participation adds star power and excitement to the event, highlighting its significance on the professional golf calendar.

Stanley is set to continue his competitive season in this week’s John Deere Classic, July 3-6, where fans will have the opportunity to see him showcase his skills before he brings his talent to Cragun’s this summer.  Additionally, Minnesota native Carson Herron—who played in the 2024 CRMC Championship on a sponsor’s exemption—also will tee it up at the John Deere Classic.

The CRMC Championship will take place on the Red and White combination of the Dutch 27 Course.  The Dutch Red was recently reopened following an extensive renovation by Tom Lehman.

This is the fourth year that the CRMC Championship presented by Northern Pacific Center has been held at Cragun’s Resort Golf & Conference.  Past champions include two-time PGA Tour winner Jake Knapp (2022), Yi Cao (2023), and Frederik Kjettrup (2024).
