COME UP TO THE MOUNTAIN
Desert Mountain in Scottsdale is about to unveil its seventh golf course (and this one’s a little different), as well as an entirely new community and a total revamp of the Nicklaus course that started it all, Renegade.
- No. 7 at Desert Mountain™ course and clubhouse opens this spring, enhancing the exciting golf lifestyle experience in Arizona’s high desert. This par-54 course is one of only two private, par-54-rated courses in the United States and will serve as the focal point for the exclusive Seven Desert Mountain™ community. It puts an emphasis on fun with music, night lighting, and a natural amphitheater around the 18th green.
- Renegade still provides two greens on every hole, allowing Desert Mountain members to customize the course every time they play it. Either green can be played on any given day, providing endless options and distance variety from 4,500 yards to a champions’ test of 8,000 yards. The customization goes so far that holes 10 and 12 can be played either as a par 3 or par 4—depending on the day and the choice of the player.
SPEND TIME WITH HAL SUTTON AT BOOT RANCH (October 2-4, 2019)

The 14-time PGA TOUR winner is now the club’s brand ambassador on the PGA TOUR Champions circuit. Boot Ranch is Hal’s only 18-hole layout, and it’s really good, drawing from lessons learned as he played great courses around the world.

Among the most exclusive golf experiences in the area, The Preserve presents a distinctive contrast to the coastal golf along 17-Mile Drive. And there’s nothing quite like lunch in an enchanting grove of 100-foot coastal redwoods …

RED LEDGES, UTAH
Nestled within Red Ledges, a private destination community in the Heber Valley area, among home sites and beautiful topography, is a spectacular place to play — and to learn — the game of golf.
An 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course and a 12-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Park are parts of the Red Ledges Community. Both courses are unique, due to the natural land formations in the area. But, in addition to having a beautiful place to enjoy the game, golfers can learn and better their games at the Jim McLean Golf School.
UNDISCOVERED LORETO (May or December 2019)
Stunning! That’s the only word that even begins to describe TPC Danzante Bay golf course, a Rees Jones design along Mexico’s Sea of Cortez. But if you don’t like great weather, great food, great people, and great golf, it’s not for you.

QUIVIRA LOS CABOS (Late April or Early December 2019)
Situated at kilometer zero at true Land’s End—the exact place where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean at Quivira Golf Course—the castle-like lighthouse, known as Faro Viejo, dates to 1905 and is the oldest standing structure in Cabo San Lucas. When staying at Pueblo Bonito Resorts, what could be better than a yoga class in this awe-inspiring setting? And, we’re hearing rumors about a second Nicklaus course on the books….
AND THERE’S MORE….
