With numerous placements in national and international publications, Carol is a seasoned researcher, pitcher and public speaker. She is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Travel and Tourism Counsel, as well as the PRSA National Capital Chapter and Independent Public Relations Association National Capital Chapter, and has served on the Historic Hotels of America national public relations committee.

She is a member of the Greater Washington Board of Trade and a graduate of its Small Business Academy, Capital Speakers Club of Washington, D.C. Inc, Junior League of Washington, and was recently appointed to a three year term on the Alexandria Marketing Committee.
