The A Position.com Announces New Deals, New Writers

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb 18, 2010 – The A Position.com, a network of Internet sites covering golf and travel, has signed its first four partnership deals with leading brands. The network—which includes 17 world-renowned writers/contributors who have decades of experience —recently inked agreements with TaylorMade-adidas Golf, one of the premier manufacturers of golf equipment and fashion products; Kalos Golf, operator of luxury golf cruises around the world; Haversham & Baker Golfing Expeditions, the leading provider of travel arrangements to America’s country club members; and US Airways Magazine, which will carry content from A Position writers in its on-board magazine and on its website.

Lance Elko, Editor of US Airways Magazine, says of his new partnership with The A Position, "It was obvious to us that the quality of writing and topic expertise is well above what we see on most websites. We're proud to be working with such an outstanding group of veteran journalists, and we look forward to a continuing relationship that benefits both the readers of our magazine and The A Position network."

Jim Lamont, owner and president of Kalos Golf, adds, "We believe The A Position provides a terrific way to help us get the word out to discerning potential clients about our trips. The A Position writers have spent years covering the best golf destinations around the world. Their reputations, and the high quality of their content, represent our brand well. And they were very creative in putting together a program that works for us."

The A Position also reports that it has signed nine additional contributing writer/editors to its network. The company now includes 17 writers and will continue to add more. It is also pursuing several partnerships to bring even more diverse, high-quality content to the network.

The A Position’s newest members include Wall Street analyst Casey Alexander; long-time Seattle Post-Intelligencer sports writer Jim Moore; Canadian journalist Tim O’Connor; Scottish writer, photographer, and videographer David Whyte; veteran golf writers Tom Bedell, Chris Duthie, and Jason Kerkmans; author, PGA Teaching Pro, and speed golf world record holder Christopher Smith; and Matt Zaffino, a well-known television and radio broadcaster in Portland, Oregon.
