Mateer Honored by Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association

ORLANDO, Fla. – Feb. 2, 2010 –Tracy Mateer of The Villas of Grand Cypress has been named the Outstanding Administrative Employee of the Year by the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association (CFHLA) at their annual “Golden Pineapple” Awards Dinner on January 28.

A 14-year employee of The Villas of Grand Cypress, Mateer serves as administrative assistant to general manager Mark Cox and is responsible for coordinating all the photo shoots and filming that occur at The Villas, Grand Cypress Academy of Golf and Jack Nicklaus Signature-designed Grand Cypress Golf Club. She resides in Orlando.

The CFHLA honored nearly 160 Central Florida “front line” associates for their contributions in advancing tourism and community through hospitality.
